Spanish Clubs 2026 – 2027
Spanish Exploradores offers Spanish Clubs in our Havertown studio and at your local pre-school, day care, elementary school, and before and after care programs). Pre-school Spanish Clubs are typically offered during the school day. Elementary Spanish Clubs are held before or after school hours.
Convenient for parents, simply drop your child off at school on the way to work and Spanish Exploradores will take over from there. Or after school they have a quick snack then go straight into a fun after school activity; without needing a ride!
Studies have shown that learning a 2nd language aides students in other academic areas as well as enhancing creativity & problem solving skills. Our immersion style Spanish Club includes interactive language lessons incorporating games, music, activities, singing and crafts.
Spanish Club Details:
- Times and days vary depending on location.
- Pre-school Spanish Enrichment Clubs – play-based language learning including games, songs and dancing. Clubs meet weekly or every other week and run throughout the school year September – June. For ages 1-6 years old. (Learn more & Register Here)
- Elementary School Spanish Clubs – interactive language classes that keep students engaged with games, music and crafts. Sessions last between 6-10 weeks and run throughout the school year September – June. Club meets weekly. For grades K-6.

Fall Theme
Amazing Axolotls!
Have you ever wondered where axolotls live, why they have feathery gills, or how they can regrow parts of their bodies? Get ready to dive into the fascinating world of the ajolote! Students will explore the canals of Xochimilco, Mexico, while learning about the axolotl’s aquatic habitat, diet, body parts, behaviors, and unique adaptations.
Along the way, students will learn new Spanish vocabulary and phrases connected to our axolotl and water habitat theme. We’ll identify body parts such as the branquias, cola, patas, ojos, and boca, while practicing action words related to swimming, hiding, eating, and exploring.
But that’s just the beginning! We’ll discover the axolotl’s life cycle, learn amazing facts about its ability to regenerate, and explore why this unusual animal is so important to Mexican culture. Students will also learn about conservation efforts and how pollution and habitat loss affect axolotls in the wild.
As the season unfolds, we’ll celebrate Fall holidays and traditions from both the USA and Latin America, connecting our animal theme to meaningful cultural experiences.
Students will also practice their colors and numbers, counting from 1–20—or even higher! To bring our underwater world to life, we’ll create colorful axolotl-inspired crafts and habitat projects.
And the adventure doesn’t stop in the classroom! Each student will receive a special notebook filled with learning materials and fun activities to enjoy at home, so the excitement of learning can continue after class.
