Spanish Summer Camp 2020 in Ardmore


Spanish Summer Camp 2020 – Registration Open

Half-day & ** NEW ** Full – day option !!

Learn Spanish vocabulary and go on a variety of journeys this Summer! Campers Age 7 -13 will visit Mexico and Spain without leaving the classroom. During our journeys we will learn about local culture (artists and poets), music and holidays. For hands on experience, we will make and try food from each country.

Crafty Pre-school & Kindergarten kids Age 4 -6. Themed La Casa week, will make a house to take home. As well as learn vocabulary related to daily life such as: meals, clothing and activities in and outside the home. Themed La Granja week, what animals live on a farm? How does food get planted and harvested? We’ll make a little farm with animals to take home as well as learn Spanish vocabulary. Just pack a snack and join us for a journey this summer!

Fall Spanish Classes start soon

FALL SPANISH CLASSES

Amigos! Preschool Spanish classes start next week.   Then in mid-September Elementary Spanish Clubs will run at:

  • Lynnewood Elementary
  • Charlestown Elementary
  • Plymouth Elementary
  • Friends’ Central

Also back this Fall are Spanish Mommy and Me classes for ages 9 months to 6 years old. Learn Spanish with your little one.   This classes are a great enrichment activity for your preschoolers.

This fall we are offering 3 different sessions in Havertown:

  • Mondays 9:50am
  • Tuesdays 4:30pm
  • Wednesdays 2:00pm

Summer Newsletter Vol 1. – Mexico


Viva Mexico!

Campers had a blast last week making a pinata, cooking and try authentic Mexican food as well as a special drink called horchata. Campers also learned Spanish vocabulary for the ingredients! They practice numbers, colors and Spanish expressions through games like bingo and songs with some dancing. They also learned about the artist Diego Rivera.
