WINTER THEME: Let’s Soar with the Monarch Butterfly!
Ever wondered where monarch butterflies fly, what they eat, or how they transform from caterpillars? Get ready to take flight! Students will dive into the enchanting world of monarch butterflies, learning all about their life cycle, migration, and habitats. Along the way, they’ll pick up new vocabulary and phrases, all centered around our exciting butterfly theme.
But that’s just the beginning! We’ll follow the monarchs on their incredible journey across different countries, uncovering fun facts and amazing stories. As the seasons change, we’ll celebrate and Winter holidays from both the USA and Latin America, discovering the unique traditions that make this time of year so special.
Students will also master their colors and numbers, counting from 1-20 (or even higher!). To celebrate Winter, we’ll get creative with seasonal crafts, making beautiful butterfly-inspired art.
And the adventure doesn’t end in the classroom! Each student will receive a special notebook filled with learning materials and fun activities to practice at home, so the joy of discovery can continue long after class is over.

Spring Theme: Let’s Dive with the Gray Whale!
Ever wondered where gray whales swim, what they eat, or how they make their incredible migrations? Get ready to dive deep! Students will explore the fascinating world of gray whales, learning all about their life in the ocean, their epic journeys, and the environments they call home. Along the way, they’ll pick up new vocabulary and phrases, all centered around our exciting whale theme.
But that’s just the start! We’ll follow the gray whales on their long migration routes, discovering fun facts and incredible stories along the way. As the seasons change, we’ll celebrate Fall and Winter holidays from both the USA and Latin America, exploring the unique traditions that make these times of year so special.
Students will also master their colors and numbers, counting from 1-20 (or even higher!). To bring the ocean to life, we’ll get creative with seasonal crafts, making beautiful whale-inspired art.

Spanish Exploradores offers Spanish Clubs at your local pre-school, day care, elementary school and before and after care programs. Pre-school Spanish Enrichment Clubs are typically offered during the school day. Elementary Spanish Clubs are held before or after school hours.
Convenient for parents, simply drop your child off at school on the way to work and Spanish Exploradores will take over from there. Or after school they have a quick snack then go straight into a fun after school activity; without needing a ride!
Studies have shown that learning a 2nd language aides students in other academic areas as well as enhancing creativity & problem solving skills. Our immersion style Spanish Club includes interactive language lessons incorporating games, music, activities, singing and crafts.
Spanish Club Details:
- Times and days vary depending on location.
- Pre-school Spanish Enrichment Clubs – play-based language learning including games, songs and dancing. Clubs meet weekly or every other week and run throughout the school year September – June. For ages 1-6 years old.
- Elementary School Spanish Clubs – interactive language classes that keep students engaged with games, music and crafts. Sessions last between 6-10 weeks and run throughout the school year September – June. Club meets weekly. For grades 1-6.

Students will dive into the wild world of jaguars, learning all about their habitats, migration, and diets. Along the way, they’ll pick up new vocabulary and phrases, all centered around our exciting jaguar theme.
But that’s not all! We’ll travel through different countries where jaguars live, uncovering fun facts and fascinating stories. As the seasons change, we’ll celebrate Fall holidays from both the USA and Latin America, discovering the unique traditions that make these times of year so special.
Students will also master their colors and numbers, counting from 1-20 (or even higher!). To bring the spirit of Fall alive, we’ll get creative with a variety of seasonal crafts, making beautiful art to celebrate the season.

ALL ABOUT ME: How do you spend your free time ? What is your favorite subject ? How do you say my eyes are brown in Spanish ? We’ll introduce and review introductory phrases and vocabulary as well as phrases related to our theme, all about me. Students will learn how to talk about things they like to eat and their favorite things to do. They’ll also learn colors and numbers 1- 20 (some 30). We’ll celebrate Winter/Spring by making a variety of Winter/Spring crafts. Each students will also each receive a notebook with educational materials.
Fall- Winter Theme 2021 – 2022
MI FAMILIA | MY FAMILY : Who are the members of your family? What does your family tree look like? Who do you have Thanksgiving with? We’ll introduce and review introductory phrases and vocabulary as well as phrases related to our theme, la familia | the family. Students will learn how to talk about members of their family and what they like to do together and how they celebrate. What holidays do we celebrate with family? We’ll discuss Fall & Winter holidays here in the USA and in Latin America. They’ll also learn colors and numbers 1-20( we’ll get to 30 this session). We’ll celebrate Fall and Winter by making a variety of Fall and Winter crafts. Each student will also each receive a notebook with educational materials.
Fall Theme 2021
Back to School/My Body: What do you use to write with ? What is your favorite subject ? How do you say eyes in Spanish ? We’ll introduce and review introductory phrases and vocabulary as well as phrases related to our theme, school and body parts. Students will learn how to talk about every day items used for school and their body parts including some of their favorite things. They’ll also learn colors and numbers 1-20. We’ll celebrate Fall by making a variety of Fall crafts. Each students will also each receive a notebook with educational materials.
