About Spanish Exploradores
Spanish Exploradores is building community, one child at a time. We provide engaging Spanish language programs for infants, preschoolers, elementary students, and adults throughout Havertown and nearby Main Line communities. Our programs use music, movement, games, storytelling, and hands-on activities to make language learning fun, interactive, and meaningful.
As our programs continue to grow, we’re looking for an Administrative & Program Assistant to support the Program Coordinator and help ensure our classes, camps, and events run smoothly.
Position Overview
The Part-Time Administrative and Program Assistant position combines administrative support, customer service, marketing assistance, and program support. You’ll work closely with the Program Coordinator to assist with daily operations, communicate with families and schools, prepare teaching materials, and help organize the many details that keep our programs running successfully.
The position offers a combination of remote work and in-person responsibilities in Havertown, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the company email inbox and respond promptly to customer inquiries
- Provide registration and enrollment support for classes and camps
- Support the Program Coordinator with scheduling classes, instructors, and school programs
- Coordinate communication with families, instructors, schools, and PTOs
- Maintain Google Calendar and program schedules
- Prepare class rosters and teaching materials
- Assemble classroom binders and supplies for instructors
- Create flyers and marketing materials using Canva
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and social media content
- Help maintain website content and online program information
- Assist with special events, community outreach, and promotional activities
- Provide occasional after-school support for teachers and program management
- Run local errands and assist with additional administrative projects as needed
Qualifications

Spanish language skills are helpful but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
- Administrative or office support
- Customer service
- Education or nonprofit organizations
- Program or event coordination
- Marketing or communications
- Graphic design using Canva
- Social media management
- Website management (WordPress)
- Email marketing (Mailchimp)
- Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Jumbula registration software (training provided)
Location
This position is based in Havertown, Pennsylvania.
- Hybrid work environment with both remote and in-person responsibilities
- Weekly in-person meeting in Havertown
- Occasional on-site support for classes, camps, and events
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time position
- Approximately 5–15 hours per week year-round
- Core availability of 9:30–10:30 a.m., Monday through Friday
- Flexible remote hours outside of core availability
- Occasional after-school hours for teacher support and program needs
- Opportunity for additional hours as the company continues to grow
Compensation: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience and performance.

Prior to beginning employment, applicants must obtain:
- FBI Criminal Background Check
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (reimbursement available)
