Q: When do you offer Summer Camp?

A: Summer Camp is offered in one week increments in June, July and August.

Q: Do you offer classes during the school year?

A: YES!  Spanish classes for ages birth – 6th grade  REGISTER NOW.  Classes are taught before school and start approximately at 7:45/8am – 8:50am or starting at 3:30pm ending at 4:30pm.  Stay tuned for details from your local elementary school, preschool, daycare or before and after care.  If you would like to start a Spanish Enrichment program at your preschool, private or public elementary school, please contact us at [email protected] or 484.450.6729

Q: How do I start a Spanish Exploradores Club at my children’s school, preschool, or before or after care program?

Q: Is there minimum amount of  students required for each class?

A: Yes. Due to the interactive nature of the class, typically 10 students.

Q: Does Spanish Exploradores run classes in inclement weather?

A: No. If Haverford Township closes it’s buildings due to inclement weather, Spanish Exploradores will not have class that day.  Spanish Exploradores will contact students in the event of a building closure.

Q: Who teaches the classes?

A: Classes are taught by the founder,  Señora Erika or other bilingual/native Spanish speakers selected by Spanish Exploradores.

Q: Who is Señora Erika?

A: Señora Erika is bilingual in Spanish and the founder of Spanish Exploradores. She lived and worked in Spain, Chile and Mexico for more than seven years.  She is a mother of three children who is passionate about languages.  Señora Erika has been speaking Spanish to her own 3 children (12, 9,  5 years), since they were born.  She founded Spanish Exploradores to share her passion for learning another language with her community.  Señora Erika is a Havertown resident.   She is involved in the community and currently volunteers on the Lynnewood PTO, for Art in the Classroom and for the Haverford Soccer Club as head coach of her son’s travel soccer team and assistant coach of her daughter’s travel team.  Teaching Spanish is in her genes – her mother taught Spanish for more than 30 years.
